'Multiple fatalities' as Amtrak train derails over major highway
An Amtrak train has derailed over a major highway commuter route in Pierce County, Washington State. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office tweeted that 'injuries and casualties' have been reported, adding that more details will be provided shortly. It occurred during the morning rush hour. The train fell onto a highway which has now been blocked off, according to the Washington Department of Transportation.
