Hundreds of protesters, led by opposition leader Mikheil Saakashvili, rallied in front of Kiev’s performing arts centre and clashed with riot police on Sunday. Police who surrounded the building reportedly used fire extinguishers against the demonstrators, who in turn were seen throwing rocks and waving Ukrainian flags.
