PM Imran Khan to arrive in Karachi today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Karachi for the second time since assuming the office of the country’s chief executive on Sunday (today).

According to details, PM Imran, on a day-long visit, will arrive in Karachi at 1 pm, during which will hold important meetings with Sindh governor Imran Ismail, PTI legislators, delegation of business community and others.

Sources said that PM Imran will also chair a high-level meeting to discuss different federal government’s development projects in Karachi and he will be briefed on the ongoing anti-encroachment drive in the metropolis during the visit.

It is pertinent to mention here that PM Imran Khan, on September 16, had arrived in Karachi for the first time since he assumed office of the premier.

He touched down at Karachi airport where Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah greeted him.

From there, he was flown to the mausoleum of the father of the nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, via helicopter. He laid a floral wreath and offered fateha.
