Thane: 60 YO elderly man sentenced 2 yrs RI for molesting minor

Thane: The District Sessions Court sentenced a 60-year-old senior citizen to two years of rigorous imprisonment after it found him guilty of molesting a 9-year-old girl in park last year.

The convict identified as Laxman Prasad, was also fined Rs 1,000.

The incident was reported by the Kopri Lake park’s security guard, who said he saw the elderly man with the minor girl on his lap while she was crying, TOI reports.
