Riot police faced off with protesters at a demonstration against the use of the name 'Macedonia' by Greece's neighbour, in Athens on Sunday. Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Syntagma Square in front of the Greek Parliament, carrying flags and banners decrying the use of the name 'Macedonia' amid ongoing UN-mediated negotiations over the appellation of the former Yugoslav republic.
