SARGODHA: Daughter of former premier Maryam Nawaz on Saturday is to address the social media convention of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) at the Company Bagh’s Football Ground here.
All arrangements have been finalized and the venue has been decorated with party flags.
The ruling party leaders, Talal Chaudhry and Dr. Musadiq Malik, inspected the security arrangements and preparations for the convention.
On the occasion, the PML-N leaders deplored ongoing graft proceedings against Sharif family members and insisted that Nawaz Sharif still popular among the masses.
The daughter of former premier would be presented a gold crown from Sargodha Mayor Malik Aslam Naveed as a ‘gift’ to her. The crown reportedly weighs 21 tolas (262.5 grams) of gold.
A similar kind of gift was previously present to Maryam in Sheikhupura during a public meeting from local traders last week.
