ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday considered a lot of names for important slots in likely premier Imran Khan’s cabinet, ARY News reported.
According to sources, a party meeting chaired by chairman Imran Khan considered Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Shafqat Mehmood’s names for foreign ministry while Fawad Chaudhry and Ali Zaidi’s names were considered for information ministry.
Sources added that the vacant slot of Sindh’s governor also has come under discussion with Karachi leader Imran Ismail lobbying to get the coveted post. Rashid Godil, who left MQM for PTI, is also being considered for the post.
It is pertinent to note here that the PTI has emerged as the largest political party in the country after the July 25 general elections, winning 115 of the 270 National Assembly seats on which the elections were held.
