Jammu: The Jammu police today seized over 224 kg of poppy from a truck and arrested its driver, an official said.
The truck was intercepted by a police team in the Manwal area here and 224.5 kg of poppy was found packed in 23 plastic bags, he said.
A case has been registered at the Jhajjar Kotli police station and the matter is being probed, the officer said.
