Hyderabad: The inaugural session of the 2-day international conference in connection with the centenary celebrations of Daeratul Ma’arif began yesterday. Minorities Affairs advisor to the Telangana Government A.K Khan retd IPS, Prof. S. Ramachandram, Vice Chancellor, Osmania University, attended as chief guest. Dr Wael Albattrekhi Minister-Counsellor, Deputy Head of Mission at Embassy of State of Palestine in Delhi was the guest of honour.
Prof K T Krishna Rao also addressed on the occasion while Prof Sulaiman Siddiqui former Vice Chancellor Osmania University delivered keynote address.
Mr A K Khan said that Daeratul Ma’arif is working as a bridge between India and Saudi Arabia.
