New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was disrupted on Thursday with members from several parties trooping near the Speaker’s podium soon after the House met.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan tried to take up the Question Hour, and a question was asked by Mathura MP Hema Malini and Minister of State for Rural Development Ram Kripal Yadav tried to reply in the din.
As the ruckus continued, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar also requested the agitating members to go back to their seats.
“We are ready to discuss any issue including banking irregularities,” the Minister said.
As the protests continued, Mahajan adjourned the House till 12 p.m.
