Tripura: Most favoured candidate, BJP Leader Biplab Deb to be CM now

Tripura: After securing a win in Tripura, BJP most favored candidate Biplab Kumar Deb will now be the new chief minister of Tripura.

Deb further commenting on the new developments said, “Jishnu Deb Burman will work with me as the deputy CM of Tripura.”

Deb emerged as most favoured candidate of BJP party defeating Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) nominee and youth leader Amal Chakraborty in the Banamalipur constituency by a margin of 9,549 votes.
