
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday will reach Karachi on a two-day visit today (Sunday) to oversee the party membership drive here.
All the arrangements for the arrival of the chairperson have been completed, sources within the party said.
During his two-day stay, the PTI chairman will pay visits to numerous party camps that are set up at PIB Colony, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Liaquatabad and Naval Colony for the membership campaign.
Khan is expected to arrive in Karachi at noon.
Besides inspecting the party membership drive, Khan is also expected to address a public meeting at Burns Road here around 9:00 pm today.
PTI has been making efforts to expand contacts with the masses ahead of General Elections 2018. The party membership drive aimed to deliver information about the party and its policies.
The campaign has recently gained momentum.
