Hyderabad: As it is electioneering time, sparring parties, in their desperate bid to garner votes, roll out alluring promises like bringing heaven on earth with ease and without any effort.

KCR’s promise of wooing the farmers with huge income generating schemes falls in this category. For, Telangana State has recorded a huge number of farmer suicides due to a plethora of farm-related issues.

People, particularly those from the farming background, are skeptical of KCR’s get-quick-rich promise being translated into a reality by the TRS during its second innings.
