European stocks wobble at open

United Kingdom: Europe’s major stock markets diverged slightly in opening deals on Thursday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.1 percent at 7,247.85 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index shed nearly 0.1 percent to 12,282.89 points, while the Paris CAC 40 rose almost 0.1 percent to stand at 5,280.66 compared with Wednesday’s closing level.
