ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Sunday arrived in China to lead Pakistani delegation at Boao Forum Annual Conference for Asia.
According to Foreign Office statement, the main theme of this conference that began Sunday is “An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of greater Prosperity”.
The prime minister will be one of the keynote speakers at the forum along with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and other leaders attending the annual forum.
Abbasi will also hold bilateral meetings with the Chinese and other world leaders.
Boao Forum is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization and it aims to promote and deepen economic coordination and cooperation within Asia, between Asia and other parts of the world.
The forum would provide an opportunity to the Prime Minister to highlight the progress achieved by Pakistan in successfully implementing China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.
