KOHAT: Six passengers onboard were reported dead and while other six injured after a van caught fire near Khawasi Banda in Kohat on Tuesday.
On the way to Dera Ismail Khan, the van suffered gas leak that caused the fire. The van then collided with an oncoming truck which left two passengers inside the vehicle injured.
Traffic on the Indus Highway was suspended soon after the incident, the police said.
The injured have been shifted to nearby hospital while traffic was suspended soon after the incident on Indus Highway.
Similarly, on Monday seven people lost their lives and four were left injured after a truck rammed into a passenger van at Attock motorway interchange.
