New Delhi: An Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter that took off from Jamnagar reportedly crashed in Gujrat’s Kutch region on Tuesday.
The Jaguar fighter plane had reportedly crashed in the Mundra taluk of the Kutch region killing the senior pilot on Tuesday, NDTV reported.
So far there is no news on casualties while the pictures from the crash site show fighter plane’s debris scattered all over the place.
Similar other aircrafts operated by the IAF have also been involved in accidents.
An M17 helicopter crashed in Uttarakhand’s Kedarnath but all the six people on board survived with no casualties reported in the month of April.
In March, the pilot in the plane though successfully ejected suffered injuries during the aircraft crash in Odisha’s Mayurbhunj district.
While a similar incident was reported in February where a microlight chopper crashed in Assam, killing two pilots on board.
