Mumbai: According to a recent survey conducted, Mumbaikars work the hardest in comparison to 77 major cities of the world.

The report was submitted by Swiss Bank UBS which reveals data that shows an average Mumbaikar works for approximately 3,314.7 hours per year as compared to an average of 1,987 working hours per year and twice more than any worker in major European cities where Rome has an average working hours of 1,581 hours while Paris has 1,622 working hours in Paris.

Yet Mumbaikars cannot afford even the simple must have on their list. For instance, a New Yorker can get an iPhone X with putting in just 54 hours of work were the same could cost a Mumbaikar his 917 working hours. Speaking of Rentals, the cost of living in Mumbai is 46% higher compared to New York while very few services like haircut for males is affordable in Mumbai.
