New Delhi: Big relief for Rajnikanth-starrer “Kaala”. The Apex Court today refused to stall the release of the movie which is slated for release tomorrow.
A bench comprising of Justices A K Goel and Ashok Bhushan refused the plea seeking an injunction against the release of the movie filed by K S Rajashekaran, New Indian Express reported.
“You want an injunction against the release of the movie. Everybody is waiting for the film to be released,” the bench had told the counsel appearing for the petitioner.
The petitioner approached the Supreme Court against the Madras High Court’s Order who posted to hear the plea on June 16 while the movie is to hit the theatres tomorrow.
The petitioner claims that the producer of the movie used the petitioner’s copyright protected work in the movie.
